How to use precise location on mobile devices

Enabling precise location through X's official apps allows X to collect, store, and use your precise location, such as GPS information. This allows us to provide, develop, and improve a variety of our services, including but not limited to:

  • Delivery of content, including posts and advertising, that is better tailored to your location.
  • Delivery of location-specific trends.
  • Showing your followers the location you are posting from as part of your post, if you decide to geotag your post.
