How To Change Your Profile Picture or Information

Twitter is more fun when you customize your profile. You can change your image in the Profile tab under your account settings. Your image can be up to 700k in the following formats: JPG, GIF, or PNG. (Twitter no longer supports animated GIFs.)

How to change your profile picture

  1. Log in to www.twitter.com
  2. Click on the person icon and select Settings from the drop down menu.
  3. Click on Profile (the fifth tab in the settings navigation bar.)
  4. Click the Browse button next to your profile image.
  5. Select a file to upload.
  6. After selecting the file, click Save at the bottom of the page. (See image below).

Note: The thumbnail image chosen will only appear after you click "Save."

Updating your name, bio, and location info

To change the location, website, picture, or bio listed on your profile, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Profile tab under Settings.
  2. Make the desired changes.
  3. Be sure to click 'Save'!
