The Twitter App for Android Gets Stuck or Crashes When I Try To Download It

Some Android users report that they are unable to completely download the Twitter for Android app. Reports indicate that the application is crashing during the download process.

In the meantime, please try doing the following on your phone :

• Clear caches
• Clear cookies
• Restart your phone and try downloading the app again.
• Try downloading other apps from Google Play (this will isolate whether or not your phone has problems with our app, specifically)
• Finally, please make sure that you do not have multiple accounts associated with the app and reinstall the latest version of the app.
