How To Confirm Your Email Address

You must confirm your email address in order for it to be fully associated with your Twitter account.

How to confirm a new email address:

1. Visit your Settings and type your desired email address into the "Email" field. (If there is an old address there, delete and type over it.)
2. Click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page to update your email address.
3. Enter your password when prompted and click on the 'Save changes' button when you are finished.
4. You will see a note that your email is pending confirmation (highlighted in yellow, as shown below).
5. Go to your email address inbox and find the message from Twitter asking you to confirm your address.
6. Click the link to confirm that the address is correct. You may be asked to log in to your account. You're good to go!

Note: You’ll receive two emails when you choose a new email address on your account – a memo will go to your old email address, and a confirmation link will go to your new email address. 

Step 1: Enter your email on the Settings page

Step 2: Enter your password to save the change.

Step 3: We'll show the message below you until you've confirmed the new email.
